while you’re doing small things,
so that all the small things go in the right direction.

Mission Statement
To create community for RAMCOA survivors through virtual, peer-created support groups and events, and the sharing of RAMCOA-related resources. This sense of community will empower RAMCOA survivors and help them find their own paths to healing.
In keeping with supporting survivors and building community, GrassRoots will also promote free and low-cost events and support groups by other survivors and RAMCOA-related organizations in its newsletter and on its website. Events can include book launches, marches, conferences, and more.
Vision Statement
We envision a world where RAMCOA survivors feel supported and empowered through positive, healthy community, created by and for RAMCOA survivors. Where all RAMCOA survivors can have hope, knowing it is possible to heal and they don’t have to do it alone.
As each of us heal, it heals our communities. And as our communities heal, it heals the world.
In the coming year, our focus is to find at least one new person willing to volunteer over the long term, to help ensure GrassRoots carries on. There are multiple areas this could be in, from administration, to communications, and more. We will reach out through our website, newsletter, and word of mouth, letting people know the future of GrassRoots depends upon us finding new, committed volunteers.
Values Statement
We value:
- The transformative power of peer-led spaces, created by survivors for other survivors.
- Healthy connections and community, built through shared experiences and understanding.
- Treating ourselves (including all of our inner parts) and others with compassion, respect, kindness, and acceptance.
We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to heal, to grow into their authentic selves, and to reclaim their voice and self expression, regardless of what they have been through in life.
